Honestly there are few people out there that impress me with their dedication, insight, responsiveness, trouble shooting, and service. I don't know what other lenders are like at NKBC but she stands out. I interviewed 4-5 other lenders before Paige called me when I signed up from Money tree, there were some smooth talkers out there, and other banks promising to undercut NKBC's rates. But I went with Paige because she demonstrated her dedication by answering emails on the weekends when we went house hunting and getting us a last minute Pre-Approval letter over a holiday. Don’t let the lack of testimonials on Paige Murphy’s site fool you into thinking you’re dealing with a rookie! We learned from Paige that she joined NBKC after a successful decade of lending with another firm and her expertise was evident throughout our transaction.

We refinanced our home with cash out to pay off debt and cover the costs of a recently completed room addition. Additionally, my wife and I are now both part-time workers and we needed to qualify with pension income.

Once she understood our situation and objectives, Paige analyzed ALL of our information and then had the expertise to know EXACTLY how to document the loan in a manner that met the bank’s guidelines AND met our needs.

This isn’t our first trip to the rodeo. We’ve bought and sold six homes and refinanced at least a dozen times. There are banks, brokers and loan officers out there that will string you along, bleed you for weeks asking for a document-a-day, and have long gaps in communication before you have a clue what’s going on.
