I had one lender try to undercut the rate, but I knew I was in good hands with Kati. Furthermore, she was able to work with me on my schedule (even though we are in different time zones) and was very responsive when I had questions. That continued through out the loan process. We had a great experience with Kati Burke from NBKC. Not only was she extremely responsive with the initial quote, she was like that throughout the whole process. She came across genuine and never pushy, and was eager to help us from answering question to beating other quotes. She check in with us often to update us on the progress of the loan, and on the day of closing she took the initiative to make sure the title/escrow person got the check before we showed up at the office instead of waiting till after we sign the doc. Again, can’t recommend her enough…she makes you feel like you got a friend in the business to take care of you.

A couple months back, my wife and I started exploring the idea of utilizing our Costco membership for the purchase of a new cabin.  In utilizing the website, we selected 4 similarly priced lenders and clicked submit.  Within 1 minute, I received a phone call from Kati.  She was personable, knowledgeable, and patient as we talked through the process.  However, not being one to accept the first offer, I contacted the other 3 lenders.  After talking with everyone and comparing the rates, we decided to select NBKC to finance our purchase.  More specifically, we selected Kati as we felt the most comfortable with her.
